Sometimes wonderful things happen when you least expect it. I always enjoy spending St. Patrick’s Day eating dinner with my parents. My mom cooks Corned Beef and Cabbage and we all pig out. I eat so much cabbage I feel like I am going to bust. We eat it once a year and I love the meal. Spending the time with them is a blessing and we look forward to our dinner each year.

This year my Aunt Lisa joined us. You can see her above on the right all decked out in green too.
She came bearing gifts for me! That was certainly unexpected. No special reason, not my birthday or any other occasion. She made me a couple things for my house. Check them out!

And here is the pillow she made. I do not sew so someone making me something like this is so appreciated. When it comes to crafts, my aunt has a talent!
It was fun to get an unexpected gift, a real pick me up on a dreary day. It was a wonderful unexpected blessing to have someone gift me with their talents and creations!
