My mom, Donna O’Neal made the best fudge the other week! It was smooth and creamy, with nuts and caramel. Very rich and delicious!
It is called Irresistible Turtle Fudge and she the recipe was obtained “From the kitchen of: Pat” at Blair Catalogue customer service team.
Ingredients:
40 caramels
1 (7ox.) jar marshmallow crème
1 tsp. vanilla
3 C. milk chocolate chips
1 (14oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 lb. chopped pecans
RECIPE:
1. Unwrap the caramels and cut each into 6 equal pieces. Set aside.
2. In large saucepan, combine chocolate chips, marshmallow crème and sweetened condensed milk.
3. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
4. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans.
5. Fold in caramels.
6. Pour into a greased 9″ x 13″ pan.
7. Cool in refrigerator
8. Cut into squares and serve.
Makes: 9″xl13″ pan

My mom noted that she bought the bags of caramel bits already cut up. She also mentioned she might use two bags next time. I thought one was fine.
All I know is it was delicious!
