I found a similar recipe on Facebook and adjusted the recipe a bit to fit my tastes. It is an excellent side dish with a sweet and savory flavor that is perfect for holidays or special dinners!
It includes bacon, so I can make a meal out of these.

Ingredients:
6 medium carrots, peeled
6 slices of bacon
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste I used Happy Salt
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Wrap each carrot tightly with a slice of bacon, overlapping slightly to secure it. Place the wrapped carrots on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper or Happy Salt
Using a pastry brush, coat the bacon-wrapped carrots generously with the glaze.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning the carrots halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender.
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Preparation Time: 12 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
TIP: This recipe is easily doubled if you have guests or want leftovers. They are great reheated in the microwave.
