My son belongs to a bell choir. He has participated since he was in 8th grade. Each year starting in October they begin practicing for their Christmas performances.
Last year we hosted a Christmas Party for the group. It was a lot of fun so we decided to host it again this year.
I served pulled pork sliders and chicken nuggets. (typical teen food) Also made homemade chicken noodle soup and chili plus lots of other stuff.
They played pool and video games.
We played Christmas Bingo! We played this last year and I was afraid they would think it was lame. They loved it. When we started planning the party for this year, they requested we play it again.
Then we played the “Present” game. It is lots of fun and lots of movement. Kids loved it.
The director presented gifts to the seniors.
Back to pool and video games.
It was a fun night for all!
I loved hosting the party but it was a bit sad as the evening ended since my son is a senior and will no longer be a part of this wonderful group.
