Bad Hair Days

This whole trip has been a series of bad hair days!  I told you a lot of funny things happened on this trip, well this is one of them.

It Melted!

Our first day in London I plugged my curling iron in and within 5 minutes, it melted the plastic on it.  All that was left was the rod!

We purchased an electrical converter to change the current .  It worked fine for my cell phone and ipad, so I didn’t think twice about plugging the curling iron in.  A few minutes later I heard a sizzling noise.  It was too late!  I was just using the plug adapter and I guess I needed the larger conversion box.   Anyway…if you are planning to travel outside the US you need to buy one of these to plug-in any of your American electrical devices.

More Bad Hair Days To Come!

In London, we didn’t even have a hair dryer!  So this whole trip has just been a bunch of bad hair days combined.   Then add riding on those double-decker bus tours and wow!  And there are more bad hair days to come!

This pic was taken in Paris, but shows a very bad, flat hair day!
