Blog Life University 2016
We attended the Blog Life University 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Hotel
We stayed at the Hilton Doubletree Marietta. For me the highlights of the hotel were the fantastic restaurant, Mocha. and the pool area.
They have an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a spa tub. Here we are in the spa.
At the Mocha we had a wonderful meal. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we wondered if we had made a mistake to eat there. I ordered Salmon and my husband ordered a Sirloin Steak. It was absolutely fantastic.
I would definitely stay in the hotel again and eat in this restaurant.
The Conference
The conference was great! Mike and I are learned so much. Since Mike is totally new to the blogging world, he was a sponge and absorbed everything. Some of our favorite sessions were “Getting Your Family Involved – Liz Latham, Pinterest, Photo, and Travel Blogging.
How will we use this Information for our business? We will use it to improve our current blogs. We hope to enter into more travel blogging, and we hope to add additional content writers.
As a newbie, Mike got lots of info and tips.
New Friends
Most of the attendees are from the southern states. But we found another person here from Pennsylvania. Here we are with from Pillow, PA.
Unique Event
This conference is not over yet and we are already making plans to attend next year. If you are a blogger or interested in starting a blog, you might want to join us next year. We will be sure to let you know about the next event.
